business improvement techniques training

SOLOMAN is committed to introducing and reinforcing lean and efficient work practices throughout London's manufacturing companies starting at the shop floor, through Business Improvement Techniques Training.

This training is driven by projects needed within the company and guarantees to deliver measurable business improvements to manufacturing companies.

Training is delivered in your company by the team that implemented lean manufacturing principles for Ford Automotive at Dagenham.

Delivery is typically delivered one day a week for 5 weeks and the whole process is completed within 12-16 weeks, so the benefits can be realised quickly.

Training is delivered to groups of 10 staff which ensures the added benefit of improved team working and company cohesion.

If you do not have a team of 10, SOLOMAN can arrange for companies to pool staff to meet the required numbers, provided there is one training location. If you have more than 10 we are happy to work with two or more groups each with different projects.

The usual training modules covered under SOLOMAN's Business Improvement Techniques are:-

  • Complying with H&S Regulations
  • Visual Management Systems
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Structured Problem Solving
  • Effective Team Working

This service may be completely free under the new Train to Gain Government Initiative and the current rules for full funding are:-

  • Learners must be over 19 years of age
  • Must have lived in the EU for last three years
  • Learners cannot already possess an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification or above i.e. 5 GCSE's at grades A-C/5 O Levels.
